How to use Vaseline as an Eyelash Conditioner

In the old days when make up was considered a luxury women used Vaseline Intensive Care petroleum jelly to help beautify their face. One use was as an eyelash conditioner. A bit of Vaseline on your eyelashes will not only act as an eyelash conditioner but it will also make it look like you have longer, thicker eyelashes. And every woman wants longer lashes!

Things You'll Need

• Vaseline Intensive Care petroleum jelly
• A clean mascara brush

Instructions

1. Buy a mascara applicator or save an old one and clean it. You can clean an old mascara applicator by soaking it in baby oil then washing it with hot soapy water. You will now only use this applicator to apply Vaseline on your eyelashes.

2. Buy a small container of Vaseline. Better yet, you can buy the squeeze tube of Vaseline Lip Therapy so it can easily fit in your make up bag. Just be sure you buy the plain Vaseline Lip Therapy and not a scented one.

3. Put a bit of Vaseline on your clean mascara applicator. Then apply to your eyelashes just as you would apply mascara. The gloss of the Vaseline will give you the appearance of a longer lash.

4. Apply Vaseline to your eyelashes daily as an eyelash enhancer. You will be surprised at how it really does make you look like you have longer lashes. Apply it nightly before bed to use as an eyelash conditioner. It will keep your eyelashes supple and healthy looking! And since Vaseline is very cheap it's a great way to save money while still getting great looking eyelashes!
