Things You'll Need:
- keywords
- Excel spreadsheet
- WordStream account
-
Step 1
Develop a list of keywords that you will import into WordStream from a text block or excel spreadsheet. You can either brainstorm, use a free keyword tool like Google's or WordTracker. Just type in a word or phrase and push "suggest keywords" and a list will appear.
-
Step 2
Save the keywords that are generated from the keyword tool that you like and are relevant to into a CSV file. There should be an export button and follow the prompts.
-
Step 3
Sign into your WordStream account @ my.wordstream.com. Click on the "Import" button in the middle of the user interface. Follow the prompts and find the CSV. file locally on your computer.
-
Step 4
Once keywords are imported it should reflect the number of keywords in the "all keywords" bucket on the upper left hand of the screen. You are now ready to use the tool to group and segment the keywords!
