Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

First, you should make sure that you wear gloves when doing chores around the house. Anything that gets under your nails such as food, dirt or other substances should be removed promptly.

  2. Step 2

Scrub your nails with a nail brush and antibacterial soap at least once a day whether you think you need to or not. You should scrub your nails as soon as you can if you notice there is dirt or particles under them.

  3. Step 3

Make sure you are scrubbing under your nails as well as the tops of them. Check under your nails to make sure that you have gotten all of the dirt or food out from under them each time you have scrubbed them.

  4. Step 4

Wash your hands regularly with antibacterial soap throughout the day to keep your hands and nails sanitized. Make sure that you dry your hands and under your nails thoroughly when you are finished washing them.

  5. Step 5

Keep a nail brush with you when you leave home. Doing so will allow you to keep your nails clean while you are on the go.
