Things You'll Need:

Step 1
Try taking ginger in the form of tea, raw or ginger candies. Just make sure to check with your physician before taking them and for the candies, please make sure that it is not simply made of sugar with ginger flavoring.

Step 2
Try smelling a slice of lemon or lime when you have your attacks. The invigorating smells of these wonderful fruits are believed to settle the stomach. In my Asian cultures this is used when one is experiencing nausea/vomiting.

Step 3
Turn on the fan or peek out of a window. The outdoor breeze helps settle the stomach for some women.

Apply a cold towel on your forehead for a few minutes helps in elevating the symptoms for some. Do not leave the cold towel for a long time. Gentle pressure on the forehead seems to help too. Use your palm and gently placed in on your forehead for a few minutes.

Eat small amounts of food every 2-3 hours. Don't overeat in any given meal.
