Things You'll Need:
- Facebook membership
-
Step 1
Purchasing property.
Certain properties are required at different levels of the game.
When available for purchase, buy only that required of you to keep your zoo "satisfaction" rating at 100%.
What that means is you will purchase what you need only when the 'satisfaction" reminder tells you something is needed.
For example if a restroom is available, do not buy it unless the "satisfaction" reminder indicates it is needed.
Buying a lot of vending machines and hot dog stands may seem like a great way to increase your revenue but do not contribute to your zoo popularity unless you have bought them to fill a need on the "satisfaction" reminder.
Buy as much land as you can afford in the beginning of the game; the price goes up with your zoo popularity. -
Step 2
Animals.
There is only one section where you want to buy every animal available; the petting zoo.
Use discretion in buying other animals. In fact, after the 25th purchase of any animal, you do not receive any benefit in the way of zoo popularity. -
Step 3
Breeding.
When you reach the point where you can breed six animals at once, make sure you choose a mix of hard and easier to breed animals. Breeding times can take several real-time days so you really need to be patient. -
Step 4
Advertising.
Advertising is a means to increasing your zoo acclaim or popularity. Always place as much money in advertising you can and still make a profit.
A combination of ticket price and advertising can keep your revenue in the black.
