How to Watch Cable TV On Your Computer

Instead of sitting on your couch watching TV you should watch Cable TV on your computer! Now you can watch TV on your desktop or laptop computer just like you would with your normal TV set.

Instructions

1. Find a USB (Universal Serial Bus) TV receiver. These are available in stores and online. There are many out there and they all do the same thing. Some receivers will even come with remotes so that you can change the channel just as you would on your TV.

2. Install the USB TV Receiver Software on your computer. Insert the disc that came with the TV Receiver and install the software. You will typically have to restart your computer once the software is done installing.

3. Open the USB TV's software that you just installed. Choose from the list of TV channels that it offers. Begin watching cable TV on your computer.

4. You can also purchase internal cards that fit in a PCI slot in your computer. However, this method is much more involved so I recommend going to the USB TV Receiver route to watch cable TV on your computer.
