How to Convert AVI to M2T
There are many different video software companies, however, almost every software has their very own video format. Two video formats are are AVI and M2T. M2Tis used by Adobe OnLocation, but it will not work on Apple Final Cut. AVI is a Microsoft based video format standing for Audio Video Interface. AVI doesn't always work on other programs as well. This is why it is sometimes necessary to convert one file to another.

Follow the link located in the References section at the bottom of the screen. It will lead to a the M2T Converter download page. Click "Free Trial Download."

Click "Save File" when asked if you would like to save the file. The program will now download.

Double click the newly downloaded file. It will appear in either a "Downloads" pop-up window or as an icon on the desktop.

Click "OK" and then "RUN" when asked if you would like to run the program.

Click "Next" when the installation wizard loads.

Scroll through the license agreement, check "I accept" and click "Next." You will not be allowed to install the software without accepting.

Click "Next" when shown the installation destination. If you want to change this, click "Browse" and type in your desired destination. The default setting is recommended.

Click "Next" when shown the start menu folder.

Click "Next" one more time and then "Install." The installation will begin.

Click "Finish" and the converter will launch automatically.

Drag in the desired file into the converter box you wish to convert. Select the output format, in this case M2T, and click "Convert." The file will now begin to convert formats.
