Instructions

  1. Shipping Internationally With UPS

    • 1

Register for an account with UPS by going to https://www.ups.com/one-to-one/login?loc=en_US.

    • 2

Choose the delivery service needed. UPS offers a number of options ranging from the next day before 9 a.m. to two to five days after shipping. Faster shipping will cost much more than slower shipping. Use UPS TradeAbility to determine how much the shipment will cost, including tarifs, and how long it is expected to take to arrive.

    • 3

Pack the item. Be sure use extra packing to make sure the item arrives undamaged. The package cannot weigh more than 150 pounds or exceed 165 inches in length and girth combined or 108 inches in length.

    • 4

Get the shipment to UPS. The package can either be brought to a UPS Store, or a pickup can be scheduled online or by calling 1-800-PICK-UPS. If scheduling a pickup, be sure to know the length, girth and weight of the package when calling.

    • 5

Track the shipment. When the package is shipped, the sender receives a shipping number that can be used to access tracking information on the UPS website. Senders can also receive updates via email.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be sure to address the package clearly and completely. UPS suggests placing an extra copy of the recipient's address inside the package.

  • Check the list of prohibited items to make sure the package does not contain banned items.

This could be the worst ehow I have ever seen.It completely skips the reason anyone would look at it, and that is the complexity of what forms need to be filled out and included with what packages for international use, and what to do about package declarations, taxes, duties, etc. This should just be deleted its so vague and pointless.
