How to Use a Camel Pack
A camel pack is a large container of water (often referred to as a bladder) within a backpack made by the Camelbak company. A favorite hydration storage tool of sports enthusiasts, particularly mountain bikers, they are easy and convenient to use.

Unzip the opening of the camel pack.

Unscrew the bladder's lid.

Situate the bladder's opening under a water faucet.

Turn on the water and fill the camel pack with water.

Screw the lid back on.

Zip up the camel pack.

Insert arms through the camel pack's straps, as if putting on a back pack.

Pick up the camel pack's long tube and place it over one shoulder.

To drink, place the mouth tip of the tube in mouth and depress the tip with the tongue against the roof of the mouth. Water will be expressed from the pack.
To Clean the Camel Pack

Unscrew the lid of the camel pack's bladder, and pour any remaining water out of the camel pack.

Mix 2 cups warm water with 2 tablespoons bleach in a measuring cup or other container with a spout from which the water mixture can be easily poured.

Pour the bleach and water mixture into the camel pack. Screw the lid back on.

Shake the camel pack around, then leave the bleach and water solution in the bladder for about 1 hour.

Unscrew the bladder's lid, and pour the water and bleach mixture out of the camel pack. Rinse with warm water.

Tips & Warnings
Remove any leftover water from the camel pack's bladder after each use to prevent mold. Keep the camel pack in a cool, dry place. Some users have found they prefer to keep their pack in a freezer.
