How to Convert C# to Visual Basic

C#, which is also referred to as C Sharp, is a programming language that was developed by Microsoft. Visual Basic is also a programming language that was developed by Microsoft. C# is a bit more simple than Visual Basic, as Visual Basic can be used to put together an entire application. For that reason, C# is converted to Visual Basic by programmers that are looking to create an application. If you want to convert C# to Visual Basic, it can be done quickly.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Launch the program that you do your C# coding in. View the C# code that you want to convert.

  2. Step 2

    Use your mouse to select the C# code that you want to convert. Press CTRL plus C to copy the code, or select "Copy" from the "Edit" menu.

  3. Step 3

    Open your Internet browser on your computer. Go to the Developer Fusion website.

  4. Step 4

    Make sure you are on the page for the ".net code converter." It should read "Convert C# to VB.NET" under the Toolbox heading. If not, just click on the icon with the C# on it.

  5. Step 5

    Click inside the empty dialog box to get a cursor. Paste your C# code into the box. You can do this by pressing CTRL plus V, or by right clicking in the box and selecting "Paste."

  6. Step 6

    Press the button labeled "Convert to VB.net" to convert your C# code to Visual Basic. The screen will change to display conversion results. Click "copy to clipboard" to copy the new Visual Basic code.
