How to Remove W32/PEpatch
The PePatch virus is a backdoor malware program that attacks computers running the Windows operating system. The W32/PEpatch virus will install both an executable file as well as a dynamic link library file on your computer. Once your computer is infected with the W32/PEpatch virus, it will run on startup of your computer and will be visible as a Windows process. Once your computer is infected with the W32/PEpatch virus, it will open a connection that allows remote users to potentially take control of your computer or infect it with additional malware.

Open the Windows Task Manager by pressing the "Ctrl," "Alt" and "Delete" keys simultaneously. Click the "ROOTKIT.WIN32.PEPATCH.EXE" process and select the "End Process" option. Exit the Task Manager.

Choose the "Start" menu and type "ROOTKIT.WIN32.PEPATCH.EXE" in the search text field and press "Enter" on your keyboard. Click the filename when the search is complete and press "Delete" on your keyboard.

Select the "Start" menu and type "ROOTKIT.WIN32.PEPATCH.EE.DLL" in the search text field and press "Enter" on your keyboard. Click the filename when the search is complete and press "Delete" on your keyboard.

Reboot your computer and the W32/PEpatch virus will be removed.
