How To Replace iTunes Cover-Art

Most music in iTunes comes with album art, but if you find a song or album that is missing artwork, or if you wish to replace the current artwork with something different, doing so is a very quick process.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer iTunes Artwork with which you want to replace the current album art

    Changing the Album Artwork

  1. Step 1

    Open iTunes and select the song or songs for which you wish to change the artwork. Right-click, and select "Get Info," or choose it from the "File" menu. Click on the "Artwork" tab within the window that pops up.

  2. Step 2

    If you want to change the artwork to a different picture that is already associated with the song or songs, select that photo, then click "OK." You can delete extra photos if you wish.

  3. Step 3

    If the photo you want as cover art is not associated with the song or songs, click "Add" and select the photo from your computer, then click "OK."

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure you have the photo you want to put as cover art already on your computer, and make sure you know where it is located. It will make replacing the cover art much easier.
