Be Rockhopper on Club Penguin
Wikipedia

Rockhopper is a rare penguin character in the online multiplayer game, Club Penguin. He shows up on occasion and if sought out, will give players rare items and access to his pirate ship, which features new games to play and areas to explore. While it is impossible to play as Rockhopper, he can be added as a buddy to those players lucky enough to track him.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Check to see if Rockhopper is currently online. The penguin is not constantly in the game world, so searching for him while he is offline will yield no results. See "Resources" for a link to the Rockhopper tracker.

  2. Step 2

Search for Rockhopper during nights and weekends, times when there are large numbers of players logged into Club Penguin. These are times when Rockhopper is most likely to be online.

  3. Step 3

Log into one of the following servers: Snow Cone, Blizzard, Mammoth, or Frozen. These servers have the highest probability of Rockhopper's presence.

  4. Step 4

Visit the following rooms on your chosen server: Dock, Pizza Parlor, Migrator. These rooms are where Rockhopper will show up.

  5. Step 5

Visit another server and begin the search again if you've yet to find Rockhopper. Check each server listed above and the rooms listed in each server. The Rockhopper tracker will point out the last known server Rockhopper was seen in.

  6. Step 6

Click on Rockhopper once you find him and select "add buddy" from his player card. This will give you access to unique items for your avatar.

Tips & Warnings
  • Recruit your friends in the search for Rockhopper. Have each friend log onto a different server to track down the elusive pirate penguin.
