Step 1
Keep your feet dry and cool. The odor causing bacteria that break down the skin and cause odor need a warm moist environment in order to thrive. Dry your feet thoroughly after bathing or showering. Use baby powder or talcum powder to absorb extra moisture.
-
Step 2
Go bare foot or wear sandals when possible to expose your feet to air. let your feet breath. Don't wear the same sandals day in and day out. Sandals can harbor bacteria as well and increase foot odor if worn constantly.
-
Step 3
Wear cotton socks that absorb moisture. Light socks that are changed after exercise help a lot. Breathable natural leather shoes are better than synthetic shoes or socks that don't allow air to exchange well. Alternate the shoes you wear. Especially if you jog or exercise it them. Allow shoes to air out and dry. Don't wear the same pair day after day.
