Insomnia effects every aspect of your life, so it's important to look at a variety of methods to see what works for you.     Try relaxation techniques to cure insomnia. Stress causes muscle tension and stressful thoughts which can cause difficulty with sleeping. Relaxation techniques can help relax you for sleep both mentally and physically. Meditation also has been proven to help cure insomnia.

    Start an exercise routine. Not only will this prepare your body to be tired for bed, your mind will also be more relaxed and clear. Finally, exercise also improves the quality of your sleep.
