Spiders, they crawl anywhere they want whether it is cold or hot, light or dark. Spiders have no specific place that they cannot get to, and if you leave them, they will multiply and start to become a nuisance. Does this Spark an idea?

  • Lavender Soap
  • Essential Oil
  • Broom
  • Small ladder
  • Hand held vacuum

      Make sure to remove all traces of spider webs throughout your home.

      Go around the inside of your entire house and make sure with broom in hand that any webs are taken down immediately. Spiders love to frequent light fixtures and corners, be sure to check them all out.

      Vacuum up all remains of spiderweds and spiders.

      Grab your hand held vacuum and start vacuuming up all the webs you have knocked down, as well as any that are ground level. If you happen to see any spiders, vacuum them up as well. Empty entire contents of the vacuum outside and tie the trash bag tightly.

      Keep spiders away and have a great smelling house.

      Mix two tablespoons of essential oil into one or two cups of lavender soap into a spray bottle. Shake well and begin to all the places where you noticed the webs located. Spray the door openings for back and front ,as well as the window sills.

  • Buy lavender and essential oils at a local health store. Runs around $3.00 a bottle, depending on size.

  • Never just pick up a spider if you have no idea what kind it is. During summer months, brown recluse spiders can be very dangerous.

  • If you happen to get bit by a spider, immediately go to the ER.
