Listerine is a powerful antiseptic that can be used for a variety of things. It can even help you get rid of toe nail fungus!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Listerine
  • A large bowl
  • A spray bottle
  1. Step 1

At night wash your feet. Using an anti-fungal soap will make a huge difference in how fast you can get rid of toe nail fungus.

  2. Step 2

Pour a generous amount of Listerine in a bowl. Make sure it is enough to cover your toes.

  3. Step 3

Soak your toes in the Listerine for 15-30 minutes. The longer you can do this the better.

  4. Step 4

Let your toes air dry without putting socks on.

  5. Step 5

In the morning use a spray bottle to spray the Listerine on your toes. Aim to get it under as well as on top of the nail.

  6. Step 6

Let your toes dry before putting socks on.

  7. Step 7

Repeat soaking your toes each night and spraying them each morning for three to six weeks. By this time you should see major differences in the condition of your nails and should have gotten rid of the fungus. Realize that the nail will have to grow all the way out before looking normal and healthy again.

Tips & Warnings
  • Wearing white socks whenever possible will help.
  • Go barefoot whenever you can.
  • Dry your feet as thoroughly as possible after they get wet from showers, baths, or pool time. You may even want to consider using a blow dryer.
  • It will take awhile so be patient. There is no quick fix for toe nail fungus!
