Things You'll Need:
- 1 package tofu
- 1 pint vegan ice cream (vanilla)
- 1 sleeve graham crackers
- blender
- 1 stick soybean margarine
-
Step 1
First, put the graham crackers in a ziplock bag and expel the air from the bag. MAKE SURE IT IS TIGHTLY SEALED!!! Then, throw it on the floor and jump on it, drive your car over it, beat it to a nice, crumbly pulp. Or you can put the crackers in the blender.
-
Step 2
Melt the soybean margarine in a pan, and then add the cracker crumbs inot it unitl they are coated with the margarine. Press this mixture into an ovenproof flan-type dish (as in the pic) or you can use a pie pan. Allow the buttery-crumbs to cool, then press them into the pan and even them out. When set, preheat the oven to 400 F.
-
Step 3
Put the ice cream and the tofu in the blender and mix for about a minute on high, or until smooth. Pour this into the graham cracker base, and bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the top starts to turn golden-brown. Eat the left over ice cream while you are waiting.
-
Step 4
When the cheesecake is done cooking, pull out of the oven and let it cool COMPLETELY. At least 30 minutes. Add a sexy topping like strawberries, raspberries or melted chocolate and gobble up.
