Instructions

    • 1

Install a ultraviolet sanitizer on your pool. Turn off the pool pump and disconnect the water return line. How you disconnect your line depends on what your setup is. If your lines have a strong connection, cut the line and insert the sanitizer that way.

    • 2

Connect the output from the pool filter to the input of the sanitizer by pushing the tube over the input connection while twisting the tube back and forth slightly. If your return flow tube is slightly larger than the connection, tighten the connection with a tube clamp.

    • 3

Turn on your pool pump. Check for leaks. If you find leaks, they must be addressed before turning on the sanitizer.

    • 4

Plug in the sanitizer. Determine if the sanitizer light is on and functioning by waiting until dark and seeing if there's a blue glow around the sanitizer.

Tips & Warnings

  • If your water return tubes are much larger than the connections on your sanitizer, use step down connectors, available from plumbing supply houses, on both sides of the sanitizer connection.

  • Do not look directly into the UV sanitizer light; this can burn your retina and cause blindness.

  • Make sure all electrical plugs are properly grounded near water.
