Flea markets can be some of the best places to find good deals on the things that you are looking for. Many cities offer a few different flea markets each week that you can go to.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Do your research to see how much what you’re looking for cost at a retail store. For example a set of four chairs and a table might go for 225 dollars at a retail store. So if you find a set similar to this at the flea market for fifty dollars then this would be a great find for you. On the other hand if the similar set of tables and chairs was going for 200 dollars, you might be better off just getting the table set at the retail store, that way you can take it back if anything is wrong with it.

  2. Step 2

Get to the flea market early. This way you can be sure to beat out other people who are trying to find the same great deals.

  3. Step 3

Shop around the flea market. Many times there will be multiple vendors selling the same things. If this is the case then you want to buy from the cheapest place. There’s nothing worse than buying something and then turning around to find it cheaper at another place.

  4. Step 4

Barter with the shop owners. Always barter with the shop owners because they are usually expecting it anyway. By bartering with the shop owners you are giving yourself a great opportunity to get what you want for even cheaper.
