How to Delete History in Firefox

Just as you can delete or erase your internet history in Internet Explorer, you can easily do so in the newer Firefox web browser. It works relatively the same. Deleting your internet history can erase any sites you have visited, saved passwords through Firefox, and history that you can go back to.

Things You'll Need:

• Firefox web browser (these steps are specifically for Firefox version 3.0)

1. Once you have finished your Firefox web browsing session, locate the word "Tools" on your standard toolbar, which is right beneath your [blue] title bar.
   Single-left-click the word "Tools".

2. A drop down menu will appear.
   Near the bottom of the list, you will see "Clear Private Data".
   Single-left click "Clear Private Data".

3. Then "Clear Private Data" dialog box will come up.
   Check/uncheck the items you wish to delete out of your web browser's history.

4. Once you have selected each item you wanted cleared from your Firefox's history, select "Clear Private Data Now" towards the lower right of the dialog box.

5. All information you chose to delete has now been deleted.
   You may now proceed!

Tips & Warnings

• This only deletes information from/associated with your Firefox browser, not Internet Explorer or your entire computer.
