How to disguise your Windows XP like a Vista

Did you ever have a longing for the nice style, and effects of Windows Vista, without switching away from Windows XP? Well, this article has the solution for you!

This article will talk about how to change your currently Windows XP theme, to Vista, without actually having Windows Vista!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with Windows XP
  1. Step 1

    Open your browser window, and in the address bar, type the following link:

    www.crystalxp.net

  2. Step 2

    In the navigation panel, near the top of the page, click, "Bricopacks"

  3. Step 3

    There are many themes here. The Vista theme is the second one, which is named, "Vista Inspirat 2" This is the theme which we will be installing.

  4. Step 4

    Click download, and choose your desired file location. (Where you will have to come back, so you can install)

  5. Step 5

    Open the downloaded file. Keep in mind that this is a compressed file, so you will need a program to unzip this file. After the file has been unzipped, click the .exe program. Proceed to installation.

Tips & Warnings
  • Since you need to unzip the compressed file, you will need a program to do this task. A good example ofthis type of program is WinRar.
  • If you want to uninstall, simply go to your desktop, and click the icon " Vista Inspirat 2 config", which is automatically put there during installation. Then, click "Remove Bricopack"
