Step 1
Finding the perfect pet for your child can be a real hassle, you need to take several things into consideration. The first thing to take into consideration is your child's age. For example a six year old will probably be able to take care of a hamster easier than a three year old who would probably rather watch fish swimming in an aquarium.
-
Step 2
The second thing to consider is your child's energy level for example does your child have allot of energy if so they would probably enjoy an animal that plays back with them if not then you could go the cute and cuddly way and get a pet that's more likely to curl up in their lap and take a nap with them.

Step 3
The last thing to consider is how your child acts around various animals and rather or not they have ever had a bad experience with a specific animal also take into account rather or not the animal will need to get any shots, see the vet often, flea bathing techniques, special diets and if possible the animals family history rather they are or could become violent.
