Enable the modem function on your cell phone (Press Menu > Settings > Connections > USB > Data Modem)--consult your phone's user's manual for specifics on enabling the modem function.

Download your phone's modem driver from the technical support page on your phone manufacturer's website. Or if your phone was supplied with a softaware CD, copy the driver from the disc to your computer.

Install the modem driver and connect your cell phone to your laptop via your phone's USB cable.

On your computer, open your operating system's "Control Panel" and click on the "Network" icon. Choose "Set up a Connection or Network" from the menu that appears.

Select "Set up a Dial-up Connection" from the next set of options. On the next page, type "#777" into the field under the "Dial-up Phone Number" heading. Click "Connect" at the bottom of the menu to establish your connection.

Tips & Warnings
The access number "#777" works with most cell service providers. However, you may need to contact your carrier if "#777" doesn't work for you.
