Things You'll Need:
- Water Soap Sponge Towel Baking soda
-
Step 1
Fill the sink with warm water. Add 3 tbsp. of liquid dish soap to the water and mix it around until soap bubbles form. If your sink has two separate sides, fill the other side with only warm water.
-
Step 2
Put the cookware into the soapy water. Take a sponge and scrub the cookware until clean. Be sure to scrub every spot on the cookware to prevent any type of buildup.
-
Step 3
Rinse the cookware by dipping it in the side of the sink with non-soapy water. Make sure that the soap is entirely rinsed off. If your sink does not have two sides, you can rinse the cookware under running water from the faucet.
-
Step 4
Dry the cookware with a clean soft towel. Drying it with a towel will ensure there will be no water spots.
-
Step 1
Mix three parts baking soda to one part water. For example, 3 tbsp. of baking soda mixed with 1 tbsp. of water. It should have a thick-paste consistency.
-
Step 2
Cover the stain with the paste. Let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes.
-
Step 3
Wash the cookware with warm, soapy water. Pay extra attention to the stain to make sure it has been removed. Rinse the pot in clean water and dry with a clean towel.
-
Step 4
Repeat the paste-application process if the stain did not come out. You can try substituting vinegar for water for a more effective paste.
