How to Program a GE Remote Control Crk76dc1

The GE Crk76dc1 Universal Remote Control can replace the pile of remotes cluttering your entertainment center. The universal remote can be programmed to work with your television, VCR, DVD player, stereo or other components you have. By syncing your remote to your different devices, you can enjoy the ease of controlling all your devices with a single remote.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Turn on the component that you wish to sync with your Crk76dc1 remote.

  2. Step 2

    Press and hold the "Code Search/Setup" button on your universal remote.

  3. Step 3

    Release the button once the red indicator light illuminates on your remote.

  4. Step 4

    Press the button for the component that you are programming and wait for the indicator light to flicker. The buttons will read "TV," "DVD," "VCR" or "Stereo."

  5. Step 5

    Press the "Power" button on your remote once. If the programmed component does not respond by turning off, continue to press the button slowly until the device does respond.

  6. Step 6

    Press "Enter/Save" on your Crk76dc1 until the indicator light turns off. Your remote and component are now be programmed. Repeat the steps to add other devices to your remote.
