Write Thank You Cards for Christmas Gifts

Many parents complain that their children are spoiled and get too many Christmas gifts. One way to instill gratitude in a child is to teach them how to write thank you cards for Christmas gifts.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Lay out the gifts when you get home so that you make sure you remember everything and who got it for you. Write thank you cards for Christmas gifts within the first week after the holiday. This not only shows respect for the giver but also keeps your from forgetting who got what gift.

  2. Step 2

Hand address each card with a special message. Thank them for the gift and state what the gift or gifts were.

  3. Step 3

Add to the message a bit about what you enjoyed with them at Christmas such as "I loved making cookies with you!".

  4. Step 4

Sign the thank you cards for Christmas gifts based on your relationship with the giver. You may use a more formal love but a love ya for your best friend would be appropriate.
