How To Remove the Recipe Rewards Toolbar

Internet Explorer

1. Find and click on the "Start" menu, which is located on the bottom left-hand side of the Windows desktop.

2. Click on the "Control Panel" icon, which appears as the fourth item from the bottom in the menu that opens to the right.

3. Select the "Add or Remove Programs" icon. This icon is listed on the top row in the "Classic" view or in the left column when using the "Category" view. A person can toggle between "Category" and "Classic" views by clicking on the "Switch" link on the top left of the window.

4. Wait for the next window to open and be populated. If there are several programs installed on the computer, it can take several seconds before the list of programs appears in the window. When the list appears, scroll to "Recipe Rewards Toolbar" and click on it.

5. Click on the "Remove" button that appears next to the "Recipe Rewards Toolbar." Close Internet Explorer and restart it. The Recipe Rewards toolbar will no longer appear.

Firefox

6. Open the Firefox Web browser by clicking on the Firefox icon on the desktop. Navigate the mouse to the "Tools" menu that is located at the top of the page after the browser opens.

7. Click on either the "Add-ons" or the "Extensions" menu. Only one of these menus will be listed. The item listed depends on the version of Firefox being used. Newer versions of Firefox will list "Add-ons" instead of "Extensions."

8. Scroll down to the "Recipe Rewards" toolbar when the "Add-ons" or "Extensions" window opens. Click on "Recipe Rewards."

9. Select the "Uninstall" button next to "Recipe Rewards." A confirmation screen will appear. Select "OK."

10. Click on the "X" at the top of the browser page to close Firefox. Restart Firefox and the Recipe Rewards toolbar will now be gone.
