Select a shoot that is growing from a plant that has no seed or has developed without any fertilization or parthenocarpy. Cut the shoot and plant it about 1 to 2 inches deep in soil of a large pot.

Find another seedless stock and use the grafting method to propagate the two cultivars together in the same pot. One way to use the grafting method is to carefully cut directly through the middle of the stock. Make sure that the stock's vascular cambium tissues, which are the thin layers of cells in the root, are placed close together for the propagating to be successful.

Water regularly and keep your plant in a warm area with plenty of sun. Continuing growing your fruit as you normally would for fruit containing seeds.

Start by growing watermelon seeds inside at room temperature. Once the vine is up to 8 inches long, transfer it to your outside garden.

Dig three holes next to each other. Plant the watermelon you already started growing in the first hole. Plant two seedless watermelon plants in the other two holes. You'll need to buy these. They are widely available at local garden stores.
