How to Change Clothes in Sims

The Sims is a reality game by Electronic Arts in which you must keep your character (known as a Sim) happy and healthy. You also can have a family, make friends and work. Several platforms currently house this game, including the PC, PlayStation, Xbox, GameCube and Gameboy. The clothes the Sims wear will reflect the action they take. For example, Sims use different outfits for sleeping or working. Some Sim games offer user-picked clothing when creating the character.

Instructions

1. Go to the "Buy Mode" option. Select the icon with the chair and lamp. Pick the "Bedroom Furniture" preference.

2. Purchase a dresser from the list. The dresser can be inexpensive. Move the item to the bedroom or living room of the Sims home. Place facing forward without any other item blocking the front.

3. Select the dresser. Choose "Change Outfit," "Work Outfit" or "Plan Outfit." Depending on the version of the specific Sims game, you may only have a list of your clothing.

Tips & Warnings

• Note: You cannot change outfits unless you have bought additional clothing.
