The Nintendo DS is Nintendo's latest entry into the handheld video game console market. The Nintendo DS includes the ability to connect to a PC to access an internet connection and play games online. The DS will not do this right out of the box, however. It first must be properly set up.
Things You'll Need
- Nintendo DS PC Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector
The Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector is a small device resembling a USB Flash Drive that is required to connect a Nintendo DS to a computer. Plug the connector into an open USB port on your computer. It is a Plug and Play compatible device, which means it will automatically be recognized by Windows and no additional setup is needed.
Turn on your Nintendo DS.
Navigate to the "Connection Setup" part of the Nintendo DS main menu. Set your Nintendo DS to connect to the Wi-Fi USB Adapter by selecting the "Wi-Fi Adapter" option from the list of available devices.
Your Nintendo DS should be connected to your PC. You now can send files between both devices and connect to the internet to play online-supported games.
