How to Make Christmas Wall Decorations

A Christmas collage is a simple way to decorate your home for Christmas. This is something the you can do alone or with the whole family. A Christmas collage is a timeless decoration that can be used every year. It's also a great way to get rid of those Christmas cards you've left sitting in boxes. This project takes about 30 minutes to complete, depending on how creative you get with it.

Things You'll Need:

  • Old Christmas cards Scissors Craft glue Poster board Frame (optional)
  1. Step 1

    Take the Christmas cards and use the scissors to cut out fun or pretty images from them. Can cut out multiple images from the same card. Cut out small images, like holly, to use in between larger images.

  2. Step 2

    Lay the images out on poster board. Rearrange them until you get a style you like. If you are framing your collage, cut the poster board to the size that will fit in the frame.

  3. Step 3

    Glue the images down on the poster board with craft glue. Allow the glue to dry.

  4. Step 4

    Place the collage in the frame and put the back on. Hang the frame on the wall.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you run out of Christmas card images, go online and print off Christmas clip art. You can also use photos of your family from past Christmases. Make the Christmas collage a family tradition. You can replace the collage each year in the frame, or create a collection.
