Things You'll Need:
- A wrench or pliers
- Paperclip
- New O-rings
- Masking tape
- Heatproof grease

Step 1
First. You want to remove the shower head. You want to protect the shower heads natural finish, so place masking tape around the area that disconnects the shower head from the arm of the shower (the collar nut).

Step 2
Second. You need to clean the shower head. (Cleaning process) Place the shower head under water use a cleaning product to clean the head, but you may need to unclog some of the shower holes. If your shower head has a screen, this is the time to remove the screen. Place the paperclip in each hole to unclog. then repeat the cleaning process.

Step 3
Third. You my and may not meed to do this step. While you are cleaning your shower head you may have noticed that the o-ring is worn. If so, grab an o-ring and replace it. If lubrication is needed, place the heatproof grease around the o-ring. Then place it back.
Place the shower head back on the shower arm and test. If you have seen improvement, you have followed the steps correctly. If not you may need to redo the steps, or purchase a new shower head.
