Wines of the Month

Looking to join a club? Wine clubs are rapidly increasing in popularity and offer members a selection of different wines each and every month. Online wine clubs ship a variety of wines; red, white or a combination of both to members every month.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Decide why you want to join a wine club. Wine drinkers come in many forms. Are you just getting into the wine culture and looking to develop a taste for wine? Are you a casual wine consumer looking for new and interesting wines that can't be found in typical liquor outlets? Or, are you a connoisseur looking to expand upon your wine tasting hobby?

  2. Step 2

If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, then go online and search for wine clubs. Wine clubs and wine communities are sprouting up all over the internet. Many of the communities are hosted by small wine sellers whose products are rarely commercialized nationally.

  3. Step 3

After finding a club to join, sign up and you will begin to receive monthly shipments of different wines. Usually, 1-4 bottles of unique wines will be shipped to you each and every month. By becoming a member, you will also have the opportunity to order other wines in addition to the wines of the month.

  4. Step 4

Participate in online wine communities by sharing your experiences with the wine or wines of the month and use the communities to discover new and interesting wines that fit your taste.

Tips & Warnings
  • Some online wine clubs will allow you to control the selections sent to you. If you prefer only "red" or "white" wines, your preferences can be accommodated.
  • Membership fees for wine clubs can vary greatly. Depending on the club, wine clubs membership fees can range from $20-$500 per month.
