Things You'll Need:
- A Racquet, racquetball, and racquetball court.
-
Step 1
Serve the racquetball so that it lands in a strategic location that makes it hard for your opponent to hit it with accuracy. An example of this would be serving the ball so that it lands to the opposite side of the hand where your opponent holds his/her racquet.
-
Step 2
Watch for long or short serves from your opponent. If the serve is long or short the opponent will have to redo the serve, therefore you will not have to swing and can save your energy for good serves.
-
Step 3
Use the rear wall of the racquetball court if it is easier than going for the front wall. Often times it takes more energy to hit the ball against the front wall than using the rear wall.
-
Step 4
Hit the ball so that your opponent has to run to get to the ball and make a shot. This strategy will cause your opponent to use more energy and will cause them to tire faster resulting in slower movement. An example of this strategy would be hitting the ball so that it hits the floor immediately after hitting the front wall of the racquetball court.

on 7/28/2009 I'm so glad someone posted an article on racquetball. We have to get more people playing this great sport. It's so much fun and an excellent full body workout. Aim low for those corners for the pinch!

on 7/2/2009 I remember when I had a ball hit the back of my calf. The most amazing bruise I have ever been priveledged to have. Hurt but wow. Great pointers, makes a person want to hit the courts. Thanks for the brush up, Mindee
