July 4th is Independence Day and the United States of America celebrates its birthday. Here are step-by-step instructions for making Fourth of July greeting cards:

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 8.5 X 11 White construction paper
  • Red construction paper
  • Blue construction paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Envelope
  • Postage Stamps
  1. Step 1

Start by assembling all the things you'll need (as listed next to this article) on the kitchen or dining room table. Cover the table with newspaper to protect it from the glue.

  2. Step 2

Take the top left corner of the white paper and fold it so that it touches the top right hand corner of the paper to make the greeting card.

  3. Step 3

Use a stencil to draw stars on the blue paper and cut them out. Glue the stars to the front of the card.

  4. Step 4

Draw stripes on the red construction paper and cut them out. Paste the red stripes underneath the blue stars and alternate to make red and white stripes.

  5. Step 5

Write the words "Happy Birthday America" on the white areas on the front of the card. Repeat this process for the number of cards you want to make.

  6. Step 6

Write a special message to the recipient inside the card.

  7. Step 7

Place the card inside an envelope, address the envelopes, add postage and mail.
