Step 1
Open the message application. If you are using a combined message mailbox, which includes all SMS text messages, emails, and missed phone calls, click the menu button. The menu button is located between the call and back button.

Scroll down the option menu until your find "Search" and click. You can then filter the messages by selecting SMS text messages or emails in the "Type" field.

Click the menu button again and click "Search." Now all of the messages will be filtered exclusively to what you wish to delete.

Step 4
Click the date at the top of the message application screen and a menu will appear. This is not the menu you need.

Step 5
Click the menu button and another option screen will open. Find the "Delete Prior" option and select. This will delete all the messages prior to the date you selected.

Step 6
Open the option menu again, scroll down to "Search" and choose "All" in the "Type" field and hit "Search" on the option menu to pull up all the messages in the message application screen.
