How to Delete Files on a Craig MP4 Player
The Craig MP4 player is a digital playback device for digital audio files and streaming video. Although it is not a well-known manufactured brand of MP4 player, the Craig produces the same high sound and video quality as other MP4 devices. Deleting files on a Craig MP4 player differs from other MP4 players.

Connect your Craig MP4 player to your computer with the USB sync cable. Once the computer detects the player, the player's software driver will be automatically installed. Once the driver is installed, an "AutoPlay" dialog window will pop up on your computer screen.

Open the MP4's file directory. To do this, click on the "AutoPlay" command, "Open Folder to View Files." This folder will display the player's file directory in Windows Explorer.

Select the files you want to delete from the MP4 player. Hold down the "Ctrl" key on your computer's keyboard and click on each file you wish to delete. This will highlight the files.

Delete the files. To do this, right-click on any highlighted file name. From the menu that pops up on the right of the file name, select the "Delete" action. A security window will appear and prompt you to confirm your decision. Click "Yes" to confirm and the files will be deleted from your MP4 player.

Unplug the Craig MP4 player's USB sync cable. The Explorer screens that are open will be closed automatically once disconnected.

Do not disconnect the player before you complete the deletion process. This action may result in damaged MP4 files. Be aware that since these files are stored on your MP4 player and not on your hard drive, they will not be moved to the Recycling Bin. As a result, there will be no way of restoring these files after deletion.
