Guild banks were introduced in Patch 2.3 of the multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft as a way for players in a guild to easily store and share items and gold with one another. The guild master can customize the guild bank permissions, deciding who may withdraw from it and how often. The bank keeps a log of all deposits and withdrawals so that the guild master can monitor the guild bank for abuse.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Become a guild master. Only a guild master can set up a guild bank. If you are not already a guild master, you can form your own guild by purchasing a guild charter in a major city and acquiring the required number of player signatures.

  2. Step 2

Travel to one of the major cities of your faction after you have become a guild master.

  3. Step 3

Go to the Bank and click on the Guild Vault to purchase a guild bank tab.

Tips & Warnings
  • Once you have purchased your first guild bank tab you can set access restrictions to allow full or limited access, as well as customize how much (if any) gold members can withdraw.
