How to Install a Mustek Scanner
There are many additional types of hardware that can be used with a computer. Among the list are scanners. Scanners are powerful tools that will copy the image of a document or image and save them as a document in the computer. Mustek, a company that manufactures everything from cameras to printers, also creates scanners. - Computer Mustek Scanner USB cable (included with printer) Power cord (included with printer)

Plug the USB cable into the Mustek Scanner's USB port, located on the back side of the scanner. Then plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB port on the computer.

Attach the power cord to the scanner's power insert port, which is located on the back of the scanner. Plug the other end of the power cord into an outlet.

Turn the Mustek Scanner's power "ON." The computer will state that it detects the hardware.

Insert the Mustek Scanner's installation disk into the computer.

Select your desired language from the list when the Mustek Scanner's installation wizard launches. "English" is the default language.

Click "Next" and the installation will begin.

Click "OK" when a pop-up window declares the installation has completed.

Tips & Warnings
If you do not have an installation disk, you can go to the link provided in the References section below. Click on your model scanner and select your operating system. Mustek will then provide a list of driver downloads.
