How to Access an Xbox 360 Hard Drive
Microsoft has made its Xbox 360 a versatile gaming console with the addition of the Xbox 360 hard drive accessory. The hard drive will allow you to take full advantage of many Xbox 360 features such as downloading additional game content, movies, gamer pics and dashboard themes from Xbox Live. The hard drive will also give you the ability to link a Netflix account to your Xbox 360 and watch movies with the Netflix Instant Streaming service.

Install your Xbox 360 hard drive by pressing it into the left side of your Xbox 360 console with the smaller end facing toward the front of the console.

Turn on the Xbox 360, and on the main menu, go to "My Xbox." Then navigate all the way to the right and select "System Settings" by pressing "A."

Select "Memory" from the System Settings menu by pressing the "A" button.

Find and select your hard drive from the list of available storage devices. Press the "A" button.

Select the category of Xbox 360 content you would like to view from the Hard Drive menu. You will be able to move, copy, or delete any data present on your hard drive.

Tips & Warnings
When selecting your hard drive from the Storage Devices menu in Step 4, if there are multiple items listed and you are unsure which is your hard drive, remove all USB devices (except your controller) and any Xbox 360 memory cards.
