In this article I will explain how to thrive in today's economy. It seems that stocks and the value of the dollar are worse now than ever have been before. However, you can still thrive in today's economy by thinking outside of the box and being open to trying new things. Read below to find out how to thrive in today's economy.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Realize and understand what is happening around! If you haven't already suffered from the flailing economy you more than likely soon will. However, in this time of recession there are still a few markets that are thriving. The first step is to understand what is happening around you so you can see, understand and meet the needs of others.

  2. Step 2

Be willing to do anything! There are people everywhere who haven't been impacted by economic stress and are still capable and willing to pay people to do things for them (lawn service, pool cleaning, home repairs/improvements, etc.). The first big idea is to do anything and everything you can for some extra cash! Most people turn their noses up at $25-50 side job work but this cash adds up fast!

  3. Step 3

Learn from others! If you hear of someone you know making good money doing something new, get onboard! There are many internet sites such as E-how that pay you to contribute to the site. The great thing about these sites is the fact that there are no commitments! You can write when you can or not write but it's a simple way to earn some extra cash!

  4. Step 4

Save money! This is the principle most Americans just can't seem to grasp because the media says "SPEND, SPEND, SPEND!" but that is such an idiotic concept right now. Most people don't know if they will have their job the next but are still living from paycheck to paycheck wasting money on things they don't need. Put back $50 a paycheck and add to that the money you make on the side!
