How to Use Gynazole-1 Cream
Gynazole-1 Cream is a prescription anti-fungal cream that is inserted into the vagina to treat candidiasis (yeast infections). The active antifungal ingredient in Gynazole-1 is butoconazole nitrate. Gynazole-1 Cream is a one-dose medication that comes in a pre-filled applicator for easy use.

Wash your hands with soap and water.

Get in a comfortable position to insert the Gynazole-1 Cream. You can sit on the toilet with your legs spread, stand up facing the toilet and put one foot on the toilet, or get in any other comfortable position that allows you to easily and comfortably access your vagina.

Hold the top half of the applicator with one hand. Grasp the ring of the applicator with your other hand. Pull the ring to extend the plunger fully.

Insert the applicator into your vagina. The applicator should be inserted tip-side first. (The tip is the opposite side of the ring.) Gently slide the applicator a couple of inches into your vagina or as far as it will easily go. Do not force the applicator into your vagina and do not insert it past where it is comfortable.

Grasp the ring on the applicator with your hand and push the plunger all the way into the applicator to release the Gynazole-1 Cream into the vagina.

Remove the applicator from your vagina and discard it securely in the trash, away from the reach of young children and animals.

Wash your hands with soap and water.

Tips & Warnings
Gynazole-1 Cream is inserted in a similar manner as a tampon with an applicator. Wear a panty liner in your underwear to catch leakage of the medication. In rare cases some women may experience vaginal burning, vaginal itching and pelvic discomfort after using Gynazole-1 Cream.
Only use Gynazole-1 Cream in the vagina. Gynazole-1 Cream is not approved for pediatric use, for use in pregnant women or for nursing mothers. Gynazole-1 Cream contains mineral oil which could weaken condoms and make them ineffective. Do not rely on condoms for pregnancy and std protection within three days after using the medication.
