How to Burn a CD With No Gaps
With all of the file sharing and music organizing programs available, making your own CDs is as popular as ever. There is a considerable number of CD burning applications available, both for free and for a fee. Most CD burners come with a pre-packaged program. While these programs vary in look and style, the functionality is largely the same. You can easily burn a CD with no gaps by following a few steps.

Launch your CD burning application. If you do not have a burning program, see Resources for a list of shareware.

Click once on the "Audio CD" option on your program. Some programs might use the term "Music" instead of "Audio." The point is to get to the area of your program where you can add music files.

Select the "Add" option on your program to add the music files for your CD. Use the "Browse" or "Look in" drop down menu to add files. Click once on a file and click the "Add" button, or click once on multiple files while holding down the "Control" (Ctrl) key to select multiple files at once.

Highlight all of the music files at once by clicking on the first file and then the last while holding down the "Shift" key. Right-click once within the group and select the "Properties" option.

Insert a blank CD into your CD burning drive. Click once on the "Burn" button to burn your CD. Depending on the number of tracks, and the speed of your computer, this process could take a few minutes. Click once on the "Finish" or "Finalize" option when the CD burning process has completed.
