How to Get the Halo Theme on Guitar Hero 3 for Xbox 360

Written by Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori with the guitars performed by Steve Vai, the MJOLNIR mix of the Halo theme is a welcome addition to Guitar Hero 3. This song is completely free to download and exclusive to the Xbox 360 version of the game. The same process for downloading this song can be used for any downloadable song for the game, but not every song is free to download.

Things You'll Need:

• Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock

1. Go to the Game Marketplace section of the console menu. If you're currently in a game, use the Xbox button to get to the console menu.

2. Select "Explore Game Content." This is the default option.

3. Select "Browse." This is the default option.

4. Go to the Genre menu of Browse, and choose "Music."

5. Select Guitar Hero 3 from the games listed.

6. Select "All Downloads" from the Guitar Hero 3 menu.

7. Choose "Halo Theme MJOLNIR Mix" from the list.

8. Start Guitar Hero 3 after the download is finished, and the song will be available to play as a downloaded track.

Tips & Warnings

• A paid subscription to Xbox Live is not required to get downloadable content. Signing up for the free subscription will also allow downloads. This song is not available on the other console versions of the game.
