DirecTV is a television company that provides access to satellite television to its users. Along with the satellite TV, you can also get Internet, although the service is provided by a partner company. If you wish to have Internet from the same company that provides you with DirecTV, you need to find a phone or Internet company in your area that partners with DirecTV. Then, the same company is providing you with both services.

Instructions

1. Find an Internet company that also provides DirecTV. If you already have DirecTV, call the customer support number listed on your bill (which is a local customer service number depending on where you live) and ask which company they partner with. Most of the time, they can transfer you to the Internet sales department and you can get Internet right over the phone.

2. Search for a company that provides DirecTV and Internet if you don't already have DirecTV. In many locations throughout the United States, this partner is Qwest. In other places, however, other phone or Internet companies share space with DirecTV.

3. Call Qwest or another phone or Internet company that partners with DirecTV. Tell them that you would like to have Internet service bundled together with your DirecTV. Usually, there are specials and deals so you can get your service cheaper than you might have thought.

4. Ask your local DirecTV office if they offer Internet on their own in your location. in some locations nationwide, DirecTV has begun to offer Internet service via satellite. If this is done in your location, you can sign up over the phone.
