Things You'll Need:

  • Essential oil (you pick the scents) Vodka Spring water Glycerine A spray bottle
  1. Step 1

Choose your scents. You will need one base scent, (which includes things such as cinnamon, vanilla, patchouli and sandal wood), one middle note (scents such as lemongrass, geranium, clove, nutmeg, ylang ylang and neroli), and one top note (including rose, jasmine, lavender, bergamont, lemon, lime and orchid).
Certain scents are said to alter mood. Check the Internet about the effects of any scents you are considering to choose the right emotions for your personality.

  2. Step 2

Blend your scents. Start with the base note, then add a little less of your middle note and less yet of a top note. You will need to experiment with the scents until you get the fragrance just right.

  3. Step 3

Mix five drops of your oil mix into a quarter cup of vodka. Let the mixture stand for a few days to a month. The longer you leave the blend, the more it will infuse and the stronger the scent will be.

  4. Step 4

When your perfume scent is just right, add 2 tablespoons water. Blend and evaluate. Add more water as needed to achieve the right strength.

  5. Step 5

Add glycerine. This allows the perfume to stay on you longer. Blend well.

  6. Step 6

Pour into your spray bottle. Use freely.
