Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Licorice powder Honey Aloe vera Dried chamomile flowers Fenugreek tea Neem oil Rosehip seed oil Sea buckthorn oil Cotton balls
  1. Step 1

Mix one part licorice powder, one part aloe vera, and one part honey. Apply to your face and neck, and leave on for at least 15 minutes. The mixture helps to reduce redness and inflammation caused by rosacea.

  2. Step 2

Mix one part sea buckthorn oil with one part rosehip oil for a nighttime mask. Apply to the skin before you go to bed and leave it on all night. Rinse completely in the morning. According to Nature's Gift, a strong dilution of sea buckthorn oil is necessary. This mixture will also help reduce redness and inflammation.

  3. Step 3

Apply neem oil and rosehip oil to your face and neck for another bedtime mask. Rosehip oil dilutes the strength of the neem. Start with one part of each, then see if you could benefit from more neem oil or less. If you don't notice much of a difference, try more neem oil. If you have any allergic reactions, try less neem oil. Leave it on all night and rinse thoroughly in the morning.

  4. Step 4

Drink a cup of fenugreek tea once a day. You should notice an improvement in your rosacea symptoms within two weeks. If there are no improvements, you could keep trying it for a longer period of time. Fenugreek helps aid the skin in repairing itself from the effects of rosacea.

  5. Step 5

Make your own chamomile cleanser. Boil 1 cup of dried chamomile flowers in about 4 cups of water. Boil for at least 10 minutes. Strain. Allow the chamomile cleanser to cool completely before applying it to your face. Once cool, apply the liquid to your face and neck with a cotton ball. Chamomile will help to soothe the skin and reduce redness and inflammation.
