How to Make Money From Your Trash

They say one man's trash is another man's treasure. This is so true. You probably have thousands of dollars sitting around in your house just in your trash!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Instructions

1. Go through all of your belongings. Don't forget to look in the attic and basement if you have one. Look through all of your old clothes and toys. You will be surprised how many items you will find that can bring you money.

2. Put all of the items you no longer use or want into a pile. Even if you think that you can earn no money for any of the items, set them aside any way.

3. Put items that are broken and you do not wish to fix in a different pile.

4. Sell the items that you no longer want! You can have a yard sale or use online classifieds. Be sure to include the description of the item for sale and its condition.

5. Sell the broken items as well, but be sure to note in the advertisement that the item is in non-working condition and will need to be repaired. MANY people are willing to pay money for broken items because they know how to fix them, or they know someone who knows how to fix them!
