Make your computer safe again!

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • anti virus
  • spyware
  • internet
  1. Step 1

Ever want your computer to run faster and think that a virus is the issue? First step to check if your computer is infected is to get an anti-virus program like mcafee or norton. Those are the two name brand spywares that will detect even the slightest amount of issues. They sweep the entire computer and takes approximately one hour to one and a half hours to complete. They then quarantine the viruses and help clean up your computer.

  2. Step 2

Next, try an anti-spyware program like spysweeper. This will see if anything is tracking your computer or a cookie has joined onto your computer. Getting rid of these will ease up much space and speeding up the computer. This process is even easier taking less time from 30 minutes to an hour.

  3. Step 3

Finally, look into getting yahoo toolbar with free anti-spyware. This is the most affective method as it takes at most 15 seconds and seems to track the most amount of trojans, adware and cookies. You can remove all of them at once which makes it very affective to delete. Overall, yahoo toolbar is the best bet to help out your computer.

  4. Step 4

If you can spend upwards of $150 buy all three. If not, in order I would buy spy sweeper, mcafee and then norton. The yahoo toolbar is free and I suggest you get it now.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always quarantine or delete.
